There’s a reason that classic silhouettes and colors never go out of style. It’s because they have a timeless elegance that transcends age and culture and act as a universal beautifier. That’s why the best designers create minimal, classic pieces that stand the test of time. In a year marked with great minimalist abaya designers, one of my favorite minimalist abaya designers this year is French-Algerian designer Bouguessa who’s designs exude confidence and class. Its easy to imagine yourself as a cool and sophisticated urbanite, or an aloof artiste, a super confident business women or a fashionista that’s too cool to care in these clothes.

The collection started by Faiza Bouguessa a French-Algerian designer based in the UAE is on the pricey side with pieces ranging from AED 800 to AED 5000 (US $217.81 to US $1,361.30). Price not withstanding, most of the collection is already out of stock. So perhaps its best to start saving up money for next year’s collection.
