Japanese Fashions

I’m a big fan of Japanese fashion. Although most of their clothes tend to be short, what I love about them is how they layer clothes and make them really feminine. Here are some of my recent favorites from Nissen that can be hijabified in no time at all.

1. A Reversible Dress: This can be worn inside out or outside in! How handy is that? I can’t get over how adorable it looks both ways. Then there are the layering options. With a cardigan, a bolero or a jacket you get instant coverage. Although you could pair it with a skirt, I recommend wearing it with trousers or pants so that you don’t look too bulky or too boho – unless that’s your thing.

2. Plaid Maxi Dress: Because a Hijabi can never have too many maxi dresses. And this one’s made from 100% cotton so you know it’s comfortable. It looks sturdy too, and not see through. They’ve paired it with a military inspired jacket which just kills it! I want one!!

Offcourse don’t forget the piece de la resistance, the one that completes these outfits: your Hijab! Have a fabulous Eid Sisters!
